Christmas Open House
Our 2012 Christmas Open House is tentatively scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, November 24-25, and Saturday December 1. Mark your calendars!
a short history
Back in December of 2005, Andrew and I hosted our first Moonboots Christmas Open House. We saw it as a wonderful opportunity to decorate our new home for the holidays and open our doors to friends, family, and strangers (...and yes, sell a few cards in the process).
The inaugural event was a success and the open house quickly became a [nearly] annual tradition, its popularity growing with every iteration. In 2008, we added door prizes to the occasion; in 2010, we expanded it to a second weekend.
In addition to being a showcase for my newest cards – and anything else I've been working on – our open house is also a warm embrace of cozy festive cheer, with mulled cider and hot chocolate, homemade cookies, and a Christmas tree that would make Clark Griswold proud.
